Zin Fest!

Hi All,

We went up to the Zin Festival in Paso Robles last weekend. We went to a few events - Friday evening at StillWaters, and Saturday at Justin and Opolo. It was not too crowded and a lot of fun. The evening at StillWaters was the best of the three. It was a beautiful evening to be strolling around the winery and Paul, Pat & Kasey broke out some old, fine wine. And, as usual, we had a great time hanging out with Bob and Marolin. They're the best!

Happenings in early March

Hi All,

We went up to Atascadero recently to see Bob and Marolin and do a little yard work :). We had a blast.

We had another theme dinner this weekend. This time we served Japanese food and drink. A great time was had by all!






















And, lastly, Karen's nephew Thomas was baptized today! He was cutest and best behaved youngster in the crowd!

On the road

As you probably know, Derek just returned from a 6-week tour in Western Europe and the UK. Sounds like they had a great time!

Also, Dani arrived in Thailand yesterday. She is staying near a town called Pattaya, if you'd like to check it out (the weather looks, well... ugh!). Keep her, Willie and family in your prayers for safe travel.

Quick Trip to Vegas

We went to Vegas right after New Year's for a quick vacation. We met our friends Paul and Karen there for a very nice dinner at Bellagio. We saw David Spade in concert (stand-up, whatever...) the second night, which was a lot of fun. The weather was a bit cold, but nice, and the hotels were not overly crowded. It was a good trip!

Man, I don't remember anything about Friday night. When I got up on Saturday morning, everyone was staring at me though!

Cancun!

Karen and Heather spent a few days in Cancun before Christmas. Looks like a beautiful place! Not too expensive this time of year, we all ought to save our nickels (as Grandma Stempson would say) and take a trip down there!
